The Kafka Tree
This is an assemblage made of found items and images. I altered an image of Kafka and put it in side a tin box that is turned in to a window with the help of my metal cutting tool. With wire I secured it to a tree limb. I added strips of text from a book on the psychology of Kafka and used vintage bulbs that hang from the branches like strange fruit. On the top is a Metamorphosis beetle that I embellished with metal paints. The piece is ready to hang with a wire on the back. The size is12 inches tall and 8 inches at the widest point.

I'm sorry if I've said this before...but your imagination always amazes me.
